Book Review | Second Chance | Dr Sandeep Jatwa

Karma, they say, "what goes around comes around" or "you will get what you have given". But have you ever thought that you will get a second opportunity to convert your BAD karma into GOOD? Many of us don’t.

Most of us don’t even realise our wrong doings, but only a few of us get a warning and receive a SECOND CHANCE to undo our wrong doings, and Shekhar was among those.

Dr. Sandeep Jatwa's book 'Second Chance' beautifully narrated how a mother's love saved her child from being punished for his, shall we say, worst karma.Shekhar Kapoor has emotionally abandoned his father because he thinks his father was the reason he lost his mother.

Protagonist Shekhar was chief executing officer of Aerowalk- a shoe making company which he inherited from his father after he got paralytic attack. Shekhar was a cruel and conceited character who had ruined many people's lives and dignity in order to satisfy his ego.

He was among those ruthless creatures who had tarnished an old man’s self-respect and respect-who was a loyal employee of his company and made them work like peons.

So, what happened to this egocentric individual when he was summoned to the 'God of Justice'?It's an interesting story to read about how his mother's love gave him a second chance and what he did with it.

This book is worth reading for all and especially for those who are losing or have lost their faith in good karma. It is a fictional story, but the narration sounds so authentic that you will believe each and every word is true.

The author has gone into detail to visualize each and every scene for the reader, which sometimes looks very lengthy to interpret.

Overall, the book is well worth your time. I received this book from V Influencers for an honest and unbiased review.

Book Review | The Last Link | Manisha Malhotra

If you love fantasies, then, surely, you will cherish this book.

The writing style of the author is great and has a nice command of the narration and of the language.

Ann, the protagonist, always sees herself as a normal student with a strong interest in physics. She can see the aura of the people around her, which seems to be a normal trait for her.

The surprise turn comes when she has to save her city from sinners by jumbling herself with four David, Eidette, Oivia and Crispin, who her that she is the last link of their missing puzzle or elements (seriously sounds like some Hollywood movie.)

You need to read the book to find out what happened next when these five elements faced the sinners (evil forces) in the battle.

This book is intended for those whose minds are constantly preoccupied with science, fiction, and the environment. If you believe that all three thoughts have a connection, then these 72 pages are for you.

The initial pages of the book are a little slow and may trick you with a lot of characters, but you will perfectly imagine everything in the last pages. So, stick to the book to the end.

Book Review | The Hidden Spark | Vikas Trivedi | Smita Agarwal

The Hidden Spark- Igniting the Passion for Your Amazing Life is a non-fiction book that discusses various life philosophies.Reading this book will feel like attending a seminar because you will not only read but also participate in a simple workshop while reading.

The book is purely dedicated to daily inspiration and preparing your personality to achieve success in life. You will enjoy reading and feel motivated at the same time, because the book contains real examples of people who have changed their lives by changing their thoughts. You will also learn a lot of stimulating quotes from a lot of the world’s infamous personalities.

In this book, authors have talked about many simple things that actually have the power to change our lives, like- our karma, imagination, forgiveness and many more.

The book starts with realistic thoughts from Gita: Only You Can Save Yourself. Further, it proceeded with many philosophical topics with very rational explanations. Few of those topics including the law of echo, ‘forget the past and make a movie ahead’, ‘remove your mental blockage’, ‘time management’, ‘attracting wealth and manifesting abundance’.

The content is thought-provoking and holds interest. Unlike many other motivational books that I have read, I found this book a little easier to grasp and understand.

The book is a method for lubricating your brain and nourishing your soul so that you can function better, in sync with the logical plans and ideas that seem to manifest themselves in you.

My only advice to you is based on my own experience: it can be difficult to grasp each and every thought about philosophical content at times. Therefore, I will suggest reading this book slowly according to your capacity, so that you can grasp and then implement whatever is written.

Happy Reading ☺

Book Review | Why Should I love You | Kamal Paneru

Why should I care about you...?is a fictional triangular love story. This complicated love story revolves around a guy named Raunak.

Initially, when I started reading this book, I was a little confused about the title as the starting pages of the book displayed a heartening love story, but you will only understand at the end why the author had named this book so. The author has truly justified the title and the justification is so real.

The story of the book revolves around Raunak – an engineering student who falls in love with Juhi, who is his friend’s sister. After a lot of waxing and waning in their relationship, they soon got separated as Juhi comes from a very conservative family. Raunak moves on with his life and Megha- who was his junior in college- comes in again. The major twist in the story actually comes at the end, when the protagonist’s life takes an unexpected turn.

Raunak, Juhi, and Megha's love story begins with an orthodox society and then moves on to many strange circumstances and losses.

The narrative is simple but captivating, and sounds more like a Bollywood movie ☺. Overall, it was a
happy read.

Book Review | Think With Me | Subrata Roy Sahara

This is the first book I have read by this author and I admired how "Subrata Roy Sahara", popularly known as Saharasri, has wonderfully described his thoughts. The author is a well-established corporate tycoon and, during the bad phase of his life in Tihar, he thoroughly analyzed the scenario of the country, its alarming situations, and created an engaging discussion through his book.

'Think With Me' focuses on the fundamental issues of our democracy, including politics, the electoral system and leadership, population, education, the media, and religion.

As a responsible citizen, the author courageously examined today's leadership qualities in politics, appealing to those in positions of power in India to think beyond their own:-I, for one, look forward to "WE ALL."The book flawlessly explained what true leadership should be like. Some of the thoughts given in the book are really interesting. We can also apply these ideas to our daily lives in a more positive way.

The book wonderfully explained different phases of life in this modern era with a beautiful quote from the Gita:- "Do your duty, never think of the result" but how it has changed in the modern era with people's demands and wishes:- "Why should I not think of the fruit or the result? It is not possible for a man just to work and not to think of its fruits. "

All the issues raised by the author are flawlessly described with appropriate solutions. Thus, as a reader, I am simply influenced by the author’s opinions. I feel the solutions and suggestions given here are really thoughtable. One should really consider reading this book once. Though the book's topics may not be of interest to many of us, the author's presentation of them is fascinating.
