Kulpreet Yadav’s In love with Simran is a tale of Sanjana, Simran and Nik. Simran and Sanjana are best friends. Simran falls in love with a billionaire businessman, Nik Sethi, and is murdered soon after, leaving Sanjana shocked and enraged. She (Sanjana) had an impression that Nik had killed her best friend, but after a series of twists and turns, Sanjana realized that Nik was not the culprit and ended up falling in love with him and then finding the real murderer at the end.
Ruby, Nik's mother, Rajbala, and the inspector, Khan, are some of the other characters who add to the story's suspense.
The plot is good, but the murder mystery could have been written better.
Twists and turns in the chapters are confusing, not surprising. The book can be a quick read as it has small chapters. Though the initial pages are monotonous, it will engage you later.
The cover of the book is not aligned with the story as it gives you an impression that the book is a love story, which it is not.
The narration is good and readers can easily visualize the characters. Overall, a good attempt to write a murder mystery.
I give 2.5/5 to this book.
I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
