Book Review | An Offbeat Yellow Back| Aditi Bakshi

Blurb

An Offbeat Yelloback is a collection of stories and anecdotes for readers with a short attention span and a lack of time. A book for millennials who work for a pittance, are broke by the end of the month, and spend it recklessly on weekends. It's for chronically depressed people and anxious insomniacs who live in denial because therapy costs more than a drink.

It’s also for the abused and for their lost childhoods. It’s for those who have a bitter-sweet relationship with traffic and rain, who archive their lives on social media and wish for one last day of love.

It's a story about cab rides and first love. But mostly, it’s for you because you’re destined to be reading this at this moment, right now.

Review

If you are a reader and need a break from reading genres, then here is a book 'without a genre’ for you. An Offbeat Yellow Back by Aditi Bakshi is a book that you will love to read; light and real. It is a book with a beautiful cover with an eye-catching title.

Various chapters in this fiction can be easily related to our daily lives. While reading this book, sometimes I felt like I was talking or listening to a friend’s story. This book, on the other hand, is an absolute delight for me.

I give 3.5/5 starts to this book.

I have received review copy of this book from the author.
