In the middle of chapter 31, I was a cynic about how the author would justify the plot and the title of the book, but I was wrong by the time I reached chapter 40.
Protagonist Abhimanyu Kaul was among those army officers who never praised his bravery. The book tells the story of his rise to the rank of Major in the Indian Army. While on his way to his destination, he met the love of his life - Alisha, and, like most love stories, they were separated first and then met again. So..
How did they meet and why were they separated? What happened when they met and how did Abhimanyu do justice to his duty as well as the love of his life? To find all of the factual answers to these questions, you must read the book, and believe me, you will not be disappointed.
You can’t guess the climax till you read the epilogue (that doesn’t mean you go straight and read the epilogue:D).
The writer has really flawlessly narrated the story. This simple yet captivating fiction is a must-read because it keeps you engrossed. The Heaviest Brick is a light read and you will enjoy the suspense before the author finally reveals it.
