Book Review | The Code of Manavas | Arpit Bakshi

Perfection almost always brings along isolation was what Krishna had learned early in his youth, from days when his newly discovered genius brought him some rapid recognition.

I like the thought; it is so practical and apt nowadays.

The code of Manavas is the first book of the Maha Vishnu Trilogy. This science fiction is set in past AD 2050 when Kali-Yuga has transformed into Swarnim- Yuga and the earth, which is named as boomi (in the book) is inherited by new heirs called, ‘Manavas’ who are divided in two territory Madhavpur and Ayudhpur. This science fiction also revolves around Krishna, who is the chief scientist and protagonist in the story. He has the responsibility to save the new race by escaping to a new planet.

The book is the right blend of science, mythology and creative fiction. The narration of the story is good as the language is simple and understandable. But again, too many characters in the book make it a little slow, as, at times, it is hard to remember all the names. Overall, I can say it was a good read for me and I hope you will also enjoy reading this book if you are a science fiction lover.

I give 3.5/5 starts to this book.

I have received review copy of this book from VInfluencers.
